  • March 19 - August 9 - Fall 2021 Semester registration 
  • 6, Friday - Deadline to submit academic suspension appeals
  • 9 - 10, Monday - Tuesday - College Faculty/Staff Convocation
  • 10, Tuesday - 6 p.m. - Payment deadline - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted 
  • 11, Wednesday - First day to use bookstore credit - books may be purchased using bookstore credit for students who are eligible if financial aid has been processed and authorized for at least 48 hours
  • 14, Saturday - CLASSES BEGIN; late registration begins
  • 17, Tuesday - 6 p.m. - Late registration ends; last day to add courses, change sections, change from credit to audit or audit to credit; last day for admission to the College 
  • 23, Monday - Last day to use bookstore credit
  • 24, Tuesday - Deadline for 100% tuition adjustment
  • 28 - September 19 -  College closed due to Hurricane Ida

  • 6, Monday - Labor Day holiday - no classes
  • 20, Monday - Classes resume
  • 21, Tuesday - Official Census Day
    • Last day to drop without “W” on student transcripts - by 12 noon in person and 4:30 p.m. online
    • Deadline for 50% tuition adjustment

  • 8, Friday - 4:30p.m. – Second deadline to apply for December graduation - after this day a “late fee” will be assessed
  • 22, Friday - 4:30 p.m. - Final day for completion of Prior Learning Credits (Non-Traditional Credits) for Semester / Final deadline to apply for December graduation - applications received after this day will be processed for May 2022 graduation
  • 22 - 28 - Spring 2022 military registration only
  • 29 - January 7 - Spring 2022 Semester registration

November

  • 5, Friday - 4:30 p.m. - First priority deadline to apply for May 2022 graduation
  • 10, Wednesday - 6 p.m. in person / 12 midnight online - Final day for dropping courses with a “W” or withdrawing from College
  • 23, Tuesday - 4:30 p.m. - Last day for reinstatement to be processed in Registrar’s office
  • 25 - 28 - Thanksgiving Holiday, no classes

December

  • 7, Tuesday - 8 a.m. - Beginning of final exams
  • 10, Friday - 11:59 p.m. - Final grades due for final exams given on Tuesday, December 7 and Wednesday, December 8

Fall 2021 Financial Aid Deadlines

The Financial Aid Fall Payment Period includes Regular Term, 8-Week Session 1 (Minimester A), 4-Week Session 1 (Minisession 1) (cancelled due to Hurricane IDA), 8 Week Session 2 (Minimester Term B), 4-Week Session 2 (Minisession 2), and Winter Session.

  • Thursday July 15 - 2021-2022 Priority FAFSA Deadline for Regular Term and 8-Week Session 1 (Minimester Term A) - FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
  • Thursday, July 29 - 2021-2022 Priority Financial Document Deadline for Regular Term and 8-Week Session 1 (Minimester Term A) - All documents submitted by this deadline will be reviewed prior to the first payment deadline.
  • Monday, September 13 - First Disbursement for First-time Loan Borrowers Enrolled in 6 Hours for the Fall Payment Period - Refunds take up to 14 business days before students receive refund. Received DOE waiver to disburse FTF funds with initial disbursement. 
  • Tuesday, September 21 -
    • Pell Recalculation Date (PRD) for Regular Term, F06 Term, and 8-Week Session 1 (Minimester Term A) - Any student adding courses to Regular Term or 8-Week Session 1 (Minimeter Term A), will not receive Pell funding if added after the established PRD. Delgado disburses Pell Grant to students based on the number of credit hours the student is actively participating in (enrollment status) as of the PRD. Dropping from courses effects the amount of Pell Grant that will be disbursed to student’s accounts. Students are encouraged to see the Answer Center or Financial aid office prior to dropping any courses to understand the effect this will have on their Pell Grant. Please note: Students must be enrolled in 6 hours at the time their loan is disbursed. The PRD does not effect a student’s enrollment status for loan purposes.

    • Initial Disbursement Date for Regular Term, F06 Term, and 8-Week Session 1 (Term A) - Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund. Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of the payment period.

    • R2T4 Freeze Date for Regular Term, F06 Term, and 8-Week Session 1 (Term A) - Financial aid will include all of the terms above when calculating a student’s total number of days in the enrollment period (the denominator of the Percentage of Aid Earned calculation) as long as the student has begun courses in these terms by this date. If a student enrolled in these terms after this date the term cannot be counted. Students who withdrew prior to Saturday, August 28 (Delgado’s Hurricane Ida closure) will be processed in accordance with the College’s original academic calendar; all students who withdrew on or after Saturday, August 28 will be processed using the revised academic calendar.  

  • Tuesday, September 28 -
    • Pell Recalculation Date (PRD) for F05 Term - Any student adding courses to Mini-session 1, will not receive Pell funding if added after the established PRD. Delgado disburses Pell Grant to students based on the number of credit hours the student is actively participating in (enrollment status) as of the PRD. Dropping from courses effects the amount of Pell Grant that will be disbursed to student’s accounts. Students are encouraged to see the Answer Center or Financial aid office prior to dropping any courses to understand the effect this will have on their Pell Grant. Please note: Students must be enrolled in 6 hours at the time their loan is disbursed. The PRD does not effect a student’s enrollment status for loan purposes.

  • Friday, October 1 - Final Deadline to Accept Loans and Complete Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling for Regular Term and 8-Week Session 1 (Minimester Term A) - Students who miss this deadline must complete a loan revision form to have loans considered to be reinstated
  • Monday, October 20 -
