DIET 101 - Introduction to Nutrition and Dietetics2 lecture hours, 4 lab hours, 3 credit hours Introduces the student to a career in Nutrition and Dietetics. It includes basic terminology, the role of a dietetic technician, the role of a Registered Dietitian, and basic concepts of clinical nutrition, community nutrition and food service management. Prerequisite(s): Eligibility for ENGL 101 and MATH 118.
