CERTIFICATE OF TECHNICAL STUDIES PROGRAM
DIVISION: TECHNICAL DIVISION
The C.T.S. program in Industrial Maintenance Technology prepares students to install, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of industrial machinery used in manufacturing settings. Technicians may work in factories that manufacture, finish, or assemble many different types of products. Students study the basic operations common to production equipment used in industry today. Electricity and electronics are emphasized because most modern manufacturing equipment is electrically operated. Pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical power are also covered.
Students planning to pursue a baccalaureate program should contact that receiving institution for determination of course transferability. A listing of Delgado courses can be found by following this link: Transfer List
