The program in Electronics Service Technology prepares students to install and service electronic equipment. Its goal is to develop competent service technicians who understand the principles of electronics, have well developed mechanical skills, and are adept at solving problems in complex electronic systems. Students in the Electronics Service Technology program may choose from two concentrations: 1) Biomedical Equipment Repair or 2) Computer and Electronics Repair. The concentration in Biomedical Equipment Repair trains students to install and repair the highly sophisticated electronic equipment used in the health care field. The concentration in Computer and Electronics Repair trains students in the diagnostic and repair servicing of computer and electronic systems.
