Maymester 2020

May 16 - 30, 2020

• April 6 - May 15 - Registration 
• May 8 - Financial Aid Deadline - all documents must be submitted to be considered for financial aid for Maymester 
  • Students who have authorized aid and a credit balance by the May 10 would receive bookstore credit on May 12
  • Students who have authorized aid and a credit balance by the May 13 would receive bookstore credit on May 15
• May 15
  • 12 noon - Last day to register
  • Payment deadline at 4 p.m. 
  • Classes with fewer than 7 students will be cancelled
• May 16 - Classes begin
• May 18 - Deadline for 100% tuition adjustment - after this date, no adjustments are given - students are responsible for full tuition and fee rates after this date, regardless of withdrawal or attendance
• May 19 - Census Day / Deadline for 50% tuition adjustments
• May 25 - Memorial Day Holiday - no class
• May 27 - Last day to withdraw with a “W”
• May 29 - Last day to reinstate a course
• May 30 - Last day of class
• June 1 - Final Exams
• June 2 - Final grades due at 4:30 p.m.

• 26, Tuesday - First day to use bookstore credit
• 31, Sunday, 12 noon - Online payment deadline - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted

• 1 - 2, Monday - Tuesday
  • ​8 a.m. - 7 p.m. - Late registration online
  • 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Late registration in person
• 2, Tuesday - First day to use bookstore credit - books may be purchased using bookstore credit for students who are eligible if financial aid has been processed and authorized for at least 48 hours
• 3, Wednesday - CLASSES BEGIN
• 3 - 4, Wednesday - Thursday 
  • 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. - Late registration, drop/add online
  • 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Late registration, drop/add in person
• 4, Thursday, 6 p.m. - Final date to register, add courses, change sections, change from credit to audit, or audit to credit / Last date for admission to the College for Session
• 7, Sunday, 12 noon - Online payment deadline - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted
• 8 - 15, Monday - Monday - Nightly payment deadline - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted

• 7, Tuesday, 6 p.m. - Final day for dropping courses with a “W” or withdrawing from College
• 14, Tuesday, 6 p.m. - Last date for reinstatement to be processed in Registrar’s office
• 21, Tuesday - Last day of class
• 22, Wednesday, 8 a.m. - Beginning of final exams
• 27, Monday, 11:59 p.m. - Final grades due for final exams given on Wednesday, July 22 and Thursday, July 23
• 28, Tuesday - End of final exams; final grades due at 11:59 p.m. for final exams given on Monday, July 27
• 29, Wednesday
  • 1 p.m. - Final grading period ends; all final grades due; grade books due in divisional offices
  • 4:30 p.m. - End of Summer Session

After tuition adjustment period, students are responsible for full tuition and fee rates, regardless of withdrawal or attendance.

Summer 2020 Financial Aid Deadlines

The Financial Aid Summer Payment Period includes Maymester, Regular Term, Minimester Term A, and Minimester Term B.

• Monday, March 9 - Financial Aid Office begins accepting Summer Financial Aid Applications - continuing Delgado students must submit a Summer Financial Aid Application to receive summer financial aid. Continuing and transfer students may only receive the remaining amount of federal aid available for the current aid year.
• Friday, May 1 - Priority FAFSA Deadline - FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
• Friday, May 15 - Priority Financial Document Deadline for Term A, Regular Term, and Term B - All documents submitted by this deadline will be considered for an award letter before first payment deadline.
• Tuesday, June 16
  • First Financial Aid Disbursement for Maymester, Term A, and Regular Term - Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.
  • First Disbursement for First-time Borrowers Enrolled in 6 hours for Maymester - Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of classes. Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.
• Monday, July 2 - First Disbursement for First-time Borrowers Enrolled in 6 hours for Regular Term and Minimester Term A - Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of classes. Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.
• Tuesday, July 7 - First Financial Aid Disbursement for Minimester Term B - Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund..
• Thursday, July 9 - 2019-2020 Final Documents Deadline - All documents must be submitted by this date to be considered for Summer 2020 financial aid award. No documents will be accepted after this date for 2019-2020 processing.
• Monday, July 13 - Second Disbursement for All Summer Payment Period Loans - Department of Education regulations require schools disburse all one semester loans in two disbursements. Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.
