August

• March 9 - August 7 - Fall 2020 Semester registration in person
• 10 - 14 - Registration online
• 10 - 11, Monday - Tuesday - College Faculty/Staff Convocation
• 11, Tuesday - First day to use bookstore credit - books may be purchased using bookstore voucher for students who are eligible if financial aid has been processed and authorized for at least 48 hours
• 15, Saturday - CLASSES BEGIN
• 16, Sunday, 12 noon - Late registration online
• 17 - 18, Monday - Tuesday - 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Late registration, drop/add in person 
• 18, Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. - Final day to add courses, change sections, change from credit to audit or audit to credit 
• 24, Monday - Last day to use bookstore credit
• 24 - 28, Monday - Friday, 8 p.m. - Nightly payment deadline - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted
• 25, Tuesday - Deadline for 100% tuition adjustment *Extended to Friday, August 28*
• 31, Monday - Official Census Day *Extended to Wednesday, September 2*
  • Last day to drop without “W” on student transcripts - by 12 noon in person and 4:30 p.m. online
  • Deadline for 50% tuition adjustment - after this date, no adjustments are given - students are responsible for full tuition and fee rates after this date, regardless or withdrawal or attendance
  • 2 p.m. – Final Payment deadline - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted

September

• 7, Monday - Labor Day holiday - no classes
• 25, Friday, 4:30 p.m. - Second deadline to apply for December graduation - after this day a “late fee” will be assessed
• 28, Monday, 8 a.m. - Beginning of midterm exams

October

• 6, Tuesday - Midterm grading period ends at 1 p.m. / Final day for completion of non-traditional credits
• 8, Thursday - LCTCS Faculty/Staff Conference Day - no classes
• 9 - January 8 - Spring 2021 Semester registration
• 9, Friday - 4:30 p.m. - Final deadline to apply for December graduation - applications received after this day will be processed for May 2021 graduation
• 10 - 13, Saturday - Tuesday - Fall Holiday, no classes
• 12, Monday - Staff Convocation
• 23, Friday - Last day for admission to the College for Semester

November

• 4, Wednesday, 6 p.m. - Final day for dropping courses with a “W” or withdrawing from College
• 6, Friday, 4:30 p.m. - First priority deadline to apply for May 2021 graduation
• 17, Tuesday, 4:30 p.m. - Last day for reinstatement to be processed in Registrar’s office
• 25 - 29 - Thanksgiving Holiday, no classes
• 30, Monday - Last day of class

December

• 1, Tuesday, 8 a.m. - Beginning of final exams
• 4, Friday, 11:59 p.m. - Final grades due for final exams given on Tuesday, December 1 and Wednesday, December 2
• 5, Saturday - Final exams for Saturday classes
• 8, Tuesday, 11:59 p.m. - End of final exams / Final grades due for all courses
• 9, Wednesday, 1 p.m. - End of Fall Semester / Grade books due in divisional offices
• 15, Tuesday, 10 a.m. - Commencement

After tuition adjustment period, students are responsible for full tuition and fee rates, regardless of withdrawal or attendance.

Fall 2020 Financial Aid Deadlines

The Financial Aid Fall Payment Period includes Regular Term, Minimester Term A, Minisession 1, Minimester Term B, Minisession 2, and Winter Session.

• Thursday July 16 - 2020-2021 Priority FAFSA Deadline for Regular Term and Minimester Term A - FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
• Thursday, July 23 - 2020-2021 Priority Financial Document Deadline for Regular Term and Minimester Term A - All documents submitted by this deadline will be reviewed prior to the first payment deadline.
• Tuesday, September 1 - First Financial Aid Disbursement for Fall Payment Period for Regular Term and Minimester Term A - Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund. Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of the payment period.
• Monday, September 14 - First Disbursement for First-time Loan Borrowers Enrolled in 6 Hours for the Fall Payment Period - Refunds take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.
• Friday, September 18 - 2020-2021 Priority FAFSA Deadline for Minimester Term B - FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
• Thursday, September 24 - First Financial Aid Disbursement for Minisession 1 - Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund. 
• Friday, September 25 - 2020-2021 Priority Financial Aid Document Deadline - All documents submitted by this deadline will be considered for an award letter before first payment deadline.
• Tuesday October 20 - First Financial Aid Disbursement for Minimster Term B - Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund. 
• Thursday, October 29 - First Financial Aid Disbursement for Minisession 2 - Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund. 
• Friday, October 30 - Final Deadline to accept loans and complete Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling - Students who miss this deadline must complete a loan revision form to have loans considered to be reinstated
• Monday, November 2 - Second Disbursement for Fall Payment Period Only Loan Funds for the Fall Payment Period - Refunds can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.
• Friday, December 4 - 2020-2021 Priority Financial Aid Document Deadline for Winter Session - All documents submitted by this deadline will be considered for an award letter before first payment deadline.
• Thursday, December 17 - First Financial Aid Disbursement for Winter Session - Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund. Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of classes.
• Friday, January 29 - 2020-2021 Final Fall Document Deadline - All documents must be submitted by this date to be considered for Fall 2020 financial aid.
