8, Friday, 4:30 p.m. - Deadline to submit academic suspension appeals
11, Monday, 4 p.m. - Payment deadline - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted
11 - 12, Monday - Tuesday - College Convocation
12 - 15, Tuesday - Friday - Late registration online
12, Tuesday - First day to use bookstore credit - books may be purchased using bookstore credit for students who are eligible if financial aid has been processed and authorized for at least 48 hours
13 - 15, Wednesday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. - Late registration in person
16, Saturday - CLASSES BEGIN
18, Monday - Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, no classes

February

2, Tuesday - Official Census Day
- Last day to drop without “W” on student transcripts - by 12 noon in person and 4:30 p.m. online
- Deadline for 50% tuition adjustment - after this date, no adjustments are given - students are responsible for full tuition and fee rates after this date, regardless or withdrawal or attendance
13- 17, Saturday - Wednesday - Mardi Gras Holiday, no classes
26, Friday, 4:30 p.m. - Second deadline to apply for May graduation - after this day a “late fee” will be assessed

March

9, Tuesday, 8 a.m. - Beginning of midterm exams
12, Friday, 4:30 p.m. - Final deadline to apply for May graduation

Spring 2021 Financial Aid Deadlines

Spring 2021 Regular 16-Week Term

December 4 - 2020-2021 Priority FAFSA Deadline - FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
December 18 - 2020-2021 Priority Financial Document Deadline - All documents submitted (including SAP appeals) by this deadline will be considered for an award letter before first payment deadline.
Saturday, January 16 - Classes Begin
February 2 - Census Day
February 3 - First Financial Aid Disbursement - The refund process takes up to 14 business days to be received. Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of classes.
February 15 - First Disbursement for First-Time Loan Borrowers in Spring Payment Period - Refunds can take up to 14 business days to be received.
April 5 - Second Disbursement of Spring Only Loans - Department of Education regulations require schools disburse all one-semester loans in two disbursements.
April 23 - Final Deadline to Accept Loans and Complete Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling - Students who miss this deadline must complete a loan revision form to have loans considered to be reinstated.
May 12 - 2020-2021 Final Document Deadline - All documents must be submitted by this date to be considered for Spring 2021 financial aid.
May 14 - Notifications for next semester Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status available to student in LoLA.

Spring 2021 Minimester 8-Week Terms

February 14 - 2020-2021 Priority FAFSA Deadline - FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
