• 27, Friday
  • 4 p.m. - Payment deadline - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted
  • First day to use bookstore credit - books may be purchased using bookstore credit for students who are eligible if financial aid has been processed and authorized for at least 48 hours

June

• 1, Wednesday - Classes begin / Late registration begins
• 2, Thursday, 6 p.m. - Late registration ends / Final date to register, add courses, change sections, change from credit to audit, or audit to credit / Last date for admission to the College for Session
• 6, Monday - Bookstore credit ends
• 7, Tuesday - Deadline for 100% tuition adjustment / Last day for Delgado Course Complete Opt Out
• 13, Monday - Census Day
  • Last date to drop without “W” on student transcripts by 12 noon in person or 4:30 p.m. online
  • Deadline for 50% tuition adjustment
• 21, Tuesday, 8 a.m. - Beginning of midterm exams
• 27, Monday - End of midterm exams
• 29, Wednesday 
  • 1 p.m. - Midterm grading period ends
  • 6 p.m. - Final day for completion of Prior Learning Credits (non-traditional credits) for session

• 4, Monday - Independence Day Holiday, no classes
• 5, Tuesday, 6 p.m. - Final day for dropping courses with a “W” or withdrawing from College by 6 p.m. in person and 12 midnight online
• 12, Tuesday, 6 p.m. - Last date for reinstatement to be processed in Registrar’s office
• 20, Wednesday - Last day of class
• 21, Thursday, 8 a.m. - Beginning of final exams
• 25, Monday, 11:59 p.m. - Final grades due for final exams given on Thursday, July 21
• 26, Tuesday - End of final exams / Final grades due at 11:59 p.m. for final exams given on Monday, July 25
• 28, Thursday
  • 1 p.m. - Final grading period ends; all final grades due / Grade books due in divisional offices
  • 4:30 p.m. - End of Summer Session

After tuition adjustment period, students are responsible for full tuition and fee rates, regardless or withdrawal or attendance.

Summer 2022 Financial Aid Deadlines

The Financial Aid Summer Payment Period includes Regular Term.

• Monday, February 7 - Financial Aid Office begins accepting Summer Financial Aid Applications - continuing Delgado students must submit a Summer Financial Aid Application to receive summer financial aid. Continuing and transfer students may only receive the remaining amount of federal aid available for the current aid year.
• Monday, May 1 - Priority FAFSA Deadline - FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
• Monday, May 16 - Priority Financial Document Deadline - All documents submitted by this deadline will be considered for an award letter before first payment deadline.
• June 13
  • Pell Recalculation Date (PRD) for Regular Term - Any student adding courses to Regular Term will not receive Pell funding if added after the established PRD. Delgado disburses Pell Grant to students based on the number of credit hours the student is actively participating in (enrollment status) as of the PRD. Dropping from courses effects the amount of Pell Grant that will be disbursed to student’s accounts. Students are encouraged to see the Answer Center or Financial aid office prior to dropping any courses to understand the effect this will have on their Pell Grant.
    Please note: Students must be enrolled in 6 hours at the time their loan is disbursed. The PRD does not affect a student’s enrollment status for loan purposes.
  • Initial Disbursement Date for Regular Term, F06 Term - Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund. Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of the payment period.
  • R2T4 Freeze Date for Regular Term, F06 Term - Financial aid will include all of the terms above when calculating a student’s total number of days in the enrollment period (the denominator of the Percentage of Aid Earned calculation) as long as the student has begun courses in these terms by this date. If a student enrolled in these terms after this date the term cannot be counted.
• Thursday, June 30 - First Disbursement for First-time Borrowers Enrolled in 6 hours - Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of classes. Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.
• Thursday, July 7 - 2021-2022 Final Documents Deadline - All documents must be submitted by this date to be considered for Summer 2020 financial aid award. No documents will be accepted after this date for 2021-2022 processing.
• Thursday, July 14 - Second Disbursement for All Summer Payment Period Loans - Department of Education regulations require schools disburse all one semester loans in two disbursements. Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.
• Thursday July 14 - 2022-2023 Priority FAFSA Deadline for Fall 2022 Regular Term and 8-Week Session 1- FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
• Thursday, July 28 - 2022-2023 Priority Financial Document Deadline for Fall Regular Term and 8-Week Session 1 - All documents submitted by this deadline will be reviewed prior to the first payment deadline.
