  • 6, Friday, 4:30 p.m. - Deadline to submit academic suspension appeals for Spring 2023
  • 9 - 10, Monday - Tuesday - College Convocation
  • 14, Saturday - Classes begin / Late registration begins
  • 15, Sunday, 9 a.m. - Spring payment deadline #2
  • 16, Monday - Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, no classes
  • 18, Wednesday, 6 p.m. - Late registration ends / Final day to add courses, change sections, change from credit to audit or audit to credit / Last day for admission to the College for semester

  • 24 Friday, 4:30 p.m. - Second deadline to apply for May graduation - after this day a “late fee” will be assessed

  • 4, Tuesday - Final day for dropping courses with a “W” or withdrawing from College by 4:30 p.m. in person and 12 midnight online

  • 24, Monday, 4:30 p.m. - Last day for reinstatements to be processed in Registrar’s office

May

  • 1, Monday - Last day of class / 4:30 p.m. - Final day for completion of Prior Learning Credits (non-traditional credits) for semester 
  • 2, Tuesday, 8 a.m. - Beginning of final exams
  • 5, Friday, 11:59 p.m. - Final grades due for final exams given on Tuesday, May 2 and Wednesday, May 3
  • 6, Saturday - Final exams for Saturday classes

Spring 2023 Financial Aid Deadlines

The Financial Aid Spring Payment Period includes Regular 16-Week Term, 8-Week Session 1, 8-Week Session 2, and 12-Week Session. (MaySession is part of the Summer Payment Period and funds will not disburse until .June 12.)

Friday, December 2, 2022 - 2022-2023 Priority FAFSA Deadline for Regular Term and 8-Week Session 1 - FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before the first payment deadline.

Thursday, December 15, 2022 - 2022-2023 Priority Financial Document Deadline for Regular Term and 8-Week Session 1 - All documents submitted by this deadline will be reviewed prior to the first payment deadline.

Tuesday, January 31, 2023

  • Pell Recalculation Date (PRD) for Regular Term, F06 Term, and 8-Week Session 1 - Any student adding courses to Regular Term or 8-Week Session 1 will not receive Pell funding if added after the established PRD. Delgado disburses Pell Grant to students based on the number of credit hours the student is actively participating in (enrollment status) as of the PRD. Dropping from courses effects the amount of Pell Grant that will be disbursed to student’s accounts. Students are encouraged to see the Answer Center or Financial aid office prior to dropping any courses to understand the effect this will have on their Pell Grant. Please note: Students must be enrolled in 6 hours at the time their loan is disbursed. The PRD does not affect a student’s enrollment status for loan purposes.
     
  • Initial Disbursement Date for Regular Term, F06 Term, and 8-Week Session 1 - Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund. Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of the payment period.
     
  • R2T4 Freeze Date for Regular Term, F06 Term, and 8-Week Session 1 - Financial aid will include all of the terms above when calculating a student’s total number of days in the enrollment period (the denominator of the Percentage of Aid Earned calculation) as long as the student has begun courses in these terms by this date. If a student enrolled in these terms after this date the term cannot be counted.

Monday, February 13, 2023 - First Disbursement for First-time Loan Borrowers Enrolled in and attended 6 Hours for the Spring Payment Period - Refunds take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.

Friday, February 24, 2023 - Final Deadline to Accept Loans and Complete Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling for Regular Term and 8-Week Session 1 - Students who miss this deadline must complete a loan revision form to have loans considered to be reinstated

Wednesday, March 22, 2023

Monday, May 1, 2023 - 2022-2023 Final Spring Document Deadline - All documents must be submitted by this date to be considered for Spring financial aid.


Summer 2023 Financial Aid Deadlines

The Financial Aid Summer Payment Period includes Regular 8-Week Term, MaySession, and 12-Week Session.  

  • Monday, May 1 - Priority FAFSA Deadline - FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
  • Monday, May 16 - Priority Financial Document Deadline - All documents submitted by this deadline will be considered for an award letter before first payment deadline.
  • Monday, June 12

  • Tuesday, July 11 - Second Disbursement for All Summer Payment Period Loans - Department of Education regulations require schools disburse all one semester loans in two disbursements. Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.
  • Thursday July 13 - 2023-2024 Priority FAFSA Deadline for Fall 2022 Payment Period- FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
  • Thursday, July 28 - 2023-2024 Priority Financial Document Deadline for Fall Payment Period - All documents submitted by this deadline will be reviewed prior to the first payment deadline.
