After tuition adjustment period, students are responsible for full tuition and fee rates, regardless or withdrawal or attendance.
Summer 2023 Financial Aid Deadlines
The Financial Aid Summer Payment Period includes Regular 8-Week Term, MaySession, and 12-Week Session.
- Monday, May 1 - Priority FAFSA Deadline - FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
- Monday, May 16 - Priority Financial Document Deadline - All documents submitted by this deadline will be considered for an award letter before first payment deadline.

- Pell Recalculation Date (PRD) for MaySession, 12-Week Session and Regular 8-Week Term - Delgado disburses Pell Grant to students based on the number of credit hours the student is actively participating in (enrollment status) as of the PRD. Dropping from courses effects the amount of Pell Grant that will be disbursed to student’s accounts. Students are encouraged to see the Answer Center or Financial aid office prior to dropping any courses to understand the effect this will have on their Pell Grant. Please note: Students must be enrolled in 6 hours at the time their loan is disbursed. The PRD does not affect a student’s enrollment status for loan purposes.
- Initial Disbursement Date for MaySession, 12-Week Session and Regular 8-Week Term - Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund. Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of the payment period.
- R2T4 Freeze Date for MaySession, 12-Week Session and Regular 8-Week Term - Financial aid will include all of the terms above when calculating a student’s total number of days in the enrollment period (the denominator of the Percentage of Aid Earned calculation) as long as the student has begun courses in these terms by this date. If a student enrolled in these terms after this date the term cannot be counted.
- Thursday, June 29 - First Disbursement for First-time Borrowers Enrolled in 6 hours - Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of classes. Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.
- Thursday, July 6 - 2022-2023 Final Documents Deadline - All documents must be submitted by this date to be considered for Summer 2023 financial aid award. No documents will be accepted after this date for processing.
- Tuesday, July 11 - Second Disbursement for All Summer Payment Period Loans - Department of Education regulations require schools disburse all one semester loans in two disbursements. Refund process can take up to 14 business days before students receive refund.
- Thursday July 13 - 2023-2024 Priority FAFSA Deadline for Fall 2022 Payment Period- FAFSAs submitted by this date will be reviewed before first payment deadline.
- Thursday, July 28 - 2023-2024 Priority Financial Document Deadline for Fall Payment Period - All documents submitted by this deadline will be reviewed prior to the first payment deadline.
