Spring 2025 Semester (Regular Term)

January

  • 10, Friday 
    • 12 noon - Payment Deadline #1 - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted
    • 4:30 p.m. - Deadline to submit academic suspension appeals for Spring 2025
  • 13, Monday - First day to use bookstore credit - books may be purchased using bookstore voucher for students who are eligible if financial aid has been processed and authorized for at least 48 hours
  • 13 - 14, Monday - Tuesday - College Convocation for faculty and staff
  • 18, Saturday - Classes begin / Late registration begins
  • 20, Monday - Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, no classes
  • 24, Friday Extended to 29, Wednesday   
    • Deadline for 100% tuition adjustment
    • Last day to opt-out of Course Complete
    • 4:30 p.m. - Late registration ends / Final day to add courses, change sections, change from credit to audit or audit to credit
  • 28, Tuesday Extended to 31, Friday - Last day to use bookstore credit
  • 31, Friday - 12 noon - Payment Deadline #2 - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted

February

  • 4, Tuesday
    • Official Census Day
    • Last day to drop without “W” on student transcripts - by 12 noon in person and 4:30 p.m. online
    • Deadline for 50% tuition adjustment - after this date, no adjustments are given - students are responsible for full tuition and fee rates after this date, regardless or withdrawal or attendance
  • 10 - 16, Monday - Sunday - Military only Summer/Fall 2025 online registration
  • 17, Monday - Summer/Fall 2025 online registration begins
  • 28, Friday, 4:30 p.m. - Second deadline to apply for May graduation - after this day a “late fee” will be assessed

March

  • 1 - 5, Saturday - Wednesday - Mardi Gras Holiday, no classes
  • 11, Tuesday, 8 a.m. - Beginning of midterm exams
  • 14, Friday, 4:30 p.m. - Final deadline to apply for May graduation
  • 17, Monday - End of midterm exams
  • 18, Tuesday, 1 p.m. - Midterm grading period ends

April

  • 4, Friday, 4:30 p.m. - First priority deadline to apply for December 2025 graduation
  • 14, Monday - Final day for dropping courses with a “W” or withdrawing from College by 4:30 p.m. in person and 12 midnight online
  • 17 - 20, Thursday - Sunday - Spring Holiday, no classes
  • 21, Monday, 4:30 p.m. - Last day for reinstatements to be processed in Registrar’s office

May

  • 5, Monday - Last day of class / Final day for completion of Prior Learning Assessment Credits for semester - 4:30 p.m.
  • 6, Tuesday, 8 a.m. - Beginning of final exams
  • 9, Friday, 11:59 p.m. - Final grades due for final exams given on Tuesday, May 6 and Wednesday, May 7
  • 10, Saturday - Final exams for Saturday classes
  • 12, Monday, 11:59 p.m. - Final grades due for final exams given on Thursday, May 8; Friday, May 9; and Saturday, May 10
  • 13, Tuesday, 11 p.m. - End of final exams / Final grades due for online courses / End of Spring Semester for students
  • 14, Wednesday, 1 p.m. - Final grading period ends / Final grades due for final exams given on Monday, May 12 and Tuesday, May 13 / Grade books due in divisional offices
  • 15, Thursday, 4:30 p.m. - End of Spring Semester for faculty
  • 20, Tuesday, 10 a.m. - Commencement

Spring 2025 Financial Aid Deadlines

The Financial Aid Spring Payment Period includes Regular 16-Week Term, 12 Week Session, 8-Week Session 1, and 8-Week Session 2.

  • Friday, December 6, 2024​ - Spring 2025 Priority Deadline for FAFSA
  • Friday, January 3, 2025​ - Spring 2025 Priority Deadline for Financial Aid Document / Financial Aid Appeals for Regular Term and 8-Week Session 1
  • Friday, January 31, 2025​ - Spring 2025 Priority Deadline for Financial Aid Document / Financial Aid Appeals for 12-Week Session
  • Friday, March 7, 2025​ - Spring 2025 Priority Deadline for Financial Aid Document / Financial Aid Appeals for 8-Week Session 2
  • Wednesday, February 5, 2025 - Pell Recalculation Date (PRD) for Regular Term and 8-Week Session 1 - Any student adding courses to Regular Term or 8-Week Session 1 will not receive Pell funding if added after the established PRD. Delgado disburses Pell Grant to students based on the number of credit hours the student is actively participating in (enrollment status) as of the PRD. Dropping from courses effects the amount of Pell Grant that will be disbursed to student’s accounts. Students are encouraged to see the Answer Center or Financial aid office prior to dropping any courses to understand the effect this will have on their Pell Grant. Please note: Students must be enrolled in 6 hours at the time their loan is disbursed. The PRD does not affect a student’s enrollment status for loan purposes.
