ASLS 102 - American Sign Language II3 lecture hours, no lab hours, 3 credit hours Continuation of the study of American Sign Language (ASL) skills with primary focus on refining the use of basic ASL sentence types and further development of conversational strategies. This course emphasizes appropriate grammatical structure, various sentence types, conceptual accuracy, and vocabulary. Information about the Deaf community and Deaf culture is included. Course instruction is primarily in ASL. Prerequisite(s): ASLS 101 and eligibility for ENGL 101.
