FPTC 220 - Codes and Prevention Principles3 lecture hours, no lab hours, 3 credit hours Provides the student with an understanding of the basic principles involved in code administration, inspection and enforcement procedures, the investigation of the cause and origin of fires as it relates to an arson abatement program, and the use of public fire education in reducing the incidence of fires.
