OCTA 206 - Therapeutic Media

2 lecture hours, 3 lab hours, 3 credit hours
Explores a variety of media with an emphasis on observation, analysis, and their adaptability as treatment media across the life span. Types of activities explored include leisure/play, creative expressive arts, activities of daily living, and other tasks used as therapy techniques. Students begin to plan selective activities that will meet a variety of needs. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Course/Lab Fee $30
