OCTA 207 - Community Occupations1 lecture hour, 6 lab hours, 2 credit hours Promotes use of observation skills and application of occupational theory in the community. Emphasis is on the development of the competence of the OTA as a provider of services to people in a variety of settings. This course includes a full-time practicum placement at a community setting for several consecutive weeks. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
