OCTA 208 - Psychosocial Applications to OT3 lecture hours, no lab hours, 3 credit hours Overview of the theory and application of occupational therapy principles relating to individuals with psychosocial dysfunction. Factors that influence function, health promotion as a component of optimal occupational functioning, and general considerations of assessment and adaptation for clients with psychosocial challenges are emphasized. This course includes a service learning component.
