WELL 145 - Personal Fitness1 lecture hour, 2 lab hours, 2 credit hours Emphasizes the role fitness plays in a wellness-based lifestyle. Components of fitness in depth and the importance of physical activity and exercise in maintaining health and wellness. Concepts of nutrition, time, stress management, postural techniques and injury prevention and their impact on physical fitness will be examined. Students will participate in wellness and fitness assessment tools, analyze the results, and develop strategies to improve personal fitness. Course/Lab Fee $15
