BTEC 284 - Biomolecules1 lecture hour, 6 lab hours, 3 credit hours Introduces common techniques used for studying, isolating, and identifying biomolecules and biologically active compounds. Focuses on multiple sample destructive and sample non-destructive techniques for the quantitation of various biomolecules and biologically active compounds and purification of biomolecules and biologically active compounds. Intended for students in the Biotechnology concentration of the Science Laboratory Technology degree program. Prerequisite(s): “C” or higher in SCIE 132 and permission of instructor or “C” or higher in BTEC 274. Course/Lab Fee $125
