CHTC 261 - Instrumental Analysis1 lecture hour, 6 lab hours, 3 credit hours Introduction to the principles and methods of analysis of industrial materials using appropriate instrumentation. Topics include theory and criteria for choosing instrumentation, sample preparation, chemical separations, spectrophotometry, and chromatography techniques. Prerequisite(s): “C” or higher in CHEM 221 and CHEM 223 or permission of instructor.
