MATH 099 - Algebra Foundations II3 lecture hours, no lab hours, 3 credit hours Foundation of additional algebraic skills for students to gain understanding of algebra before taking an entry level college math course. The major topics include polynomials and factoring, rational expressions and equations, radical expressions and equations, and solving and graphing with quadratics. Prerequisite(s): “C” or higher in MATH 098 or MATH 114, or score of 65-120 on the Accuplacer Elementary Algebra placement exam, or score of 20-44 on the Accuplacer College Level Math placement exam, or score of 17-21 on the ACT.
