ENGL 098 - Developmental Composition I

3 lecture hours, no lab hours, 3 credit hours
Foundation of basic writing skills. Concentrates on well-contructed sentences and paragraphs. Includes intensive practice in the fundamentals of grammar and mechanics. This is a skills improvement course that may not be used as credit towards certificate, diploma, or associate degree. Prerequisite(s): Score of 20-59 on the Accuplacer Sentence Skills placement exam or a Compass score of 11-45 within the last three years. Course/Lab Fee $30
