Various packaging materials and closure methods used for sterilization as they relate to the Association of Advancement of Medical Instruments (AAMI) standards. Sterilization equipment including high and low temperature sterilization, types of sterilizers, various cycles, quality assurance concepts, documentation standards, and policies and procedures. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Central Sterile Processing program.
