Topics include development of the modern theory of evolution, heredity and genetics, natural selection, sexual selection, speciation, coevolution, extinction, life histories, population genetics, and human evolution. Prerequisite(s): “C” or better in BIOL 141, 143. Corequisite(s): BIOL 142, 144 or permission of instructor and department chair.
