In-depth treatment of solving equations and inequalities; function properties and graphs; inverse functions; linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions with applications; systems of equations. Prerequisite(s): “C” or higher in MATH 097, or MATH 099 or MATH 128 or SPSM 099; or a score of 45-98 on the Accuplacer College Level Math placement exam; or a score of 263-300 on the Accuplacer Next Generation ANG QAS placeent test; or a score of 250-257 on the Acuplacer Next Generation AAF placement test; or an ACT Math score of 22 or higher.
