MATH 128 - Applied Algebra3 lecture hours, no lab hours, 3 credit hours [LCCN: CMAT 1203]
Emphasis on applications involving solving equations and inequalities, functions properties and graphs, and linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions. Prerequisite(s):
- Completion of MATH 097, MATH 098, MATH 114, or SPSM 099 with a minimum grade of “C” OR;
- Accuplacer Next Generation QAS Placement Test score of 250 or higher OR;
- Accuplacer Next Generation AAF Placement Test score of 200 or higher OR;
- ACT Mathematics score of 19 or higher OR;
- High school transcript less than two years old with the completion of Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry with grades of “C” or higher AND a cumulative high school GPA of 2.8.
