MATH 130 - College Algebra3 lecture hours, no lab hours, 3 credit hours [LCCN: CMAT 1213]
In-depth treatment of solving equations and inequalities; function properties and graphs; inverse functions; linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions with applications; systems of equations. Prerequisite(s):
- Completion of MATH 097, MATH 099, MATH 114, or SPSM 099 with a minimum grade of “C” OR;
- Accuplacer Next Generation QAS Placement Test score of 263 or higher OR;
- Accuplacer Next Generation AAF Placement Test score of 250 or higher OR;
- ACT Mathematics score of 22 or higher OR;
- High school transcript less than two years old with the completion of Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry with grades of “B” or higher AND a cumulative GPA of 2.8.
