PTAP 216 - Clinical Science IV2 lecture hours, 4 lab hours, 4 credit hours Clinical Science IV is the fourth of four courses (PTAP 205, PTAP 206, PTAP 215, PTAP 216) taught over two academic semesters. Clinical Science IV presents an overview of neurophysiological approaches used in physical therapy; the basic concepts of rehabilitation; the development of treatment skills for complex neurological conditions; prosthetics; orthotics; pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation; identification/modification of architectural barriers; and special topics including pediatrics, cancer, and women’s health.
