RATH 233 - Radiation Therapy Physics II2 lecture hours, no lab hours, 2 credit hours Expanded concepts and theories in radiation physics for the radiation therapist. Detailed analysis of the structure of matter, properties of radiation, nuclear transformations, production and interactions of ionizing radiations are emphasized. Treatment units used in external beam therapy, measurement and quality of radiation, absorbed dose, dose distribution, and scatter analysis are among the concepts presented. Course/Lab Fee $10
