VETT 121 - Animal Nursing Skills I1 lecture hour, 3 lab hours, 2 credit hours Introduction to the proper handling and restraint techniques of dogs and cats including the fundamentals of personal safety when handling animals. The study of the technical skills required to perform physical examinations, medicate animals, collect laboratory samples, perform bandaging, and place catheters. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into Veterinary Technology program. Corequisite(s): VETT 131. Course/Lab Fee $15
