MATH 133 - Intensive College Algebra5 lecture hours, no lab hours, 5 credit hours Review algebra concepts; in-depth treatment of solving equations and inequalities; functional properties and graphs; inverse functions; linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions with applications; systems of equations Prerequisite(s):
- Completion of MATH 097, MATH 099, MATH 114, MATH 120, or SPSM 099 with a minimum grade of “C” OR;
- Accuplacer Next Generation QAS Placement Test score of 250 or higher OR;
- Accuplacer Next Generation AAF Placement Test score of 250 or higher OR;
- ACT Mathematics score of 17 or higher OR;
- High school transcript less than two years old with the completion of Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry with grades of “C” or higher AND a cumulative high school GPA of 2.8.
