ESLN 031 - Advanced Composition and Reading6 lecture hours, no lab hours, 6 credit hours Designed for students with advanced skills in English, reading, and writing. Prepares students for success in college-level composition through an integrated approach to reading and writing that emphasizes academic vocabulary acquistion, language comprehension and fluency, and idea development in writing. Students must complete ESLN 021: Advanced Grammar prior to or concurrently with this course to exit the ESL. Classes are conducted in English only. Prerequisite(s): ESLN 012, 014, and 018.
