PRNU 124 - Medical-Surgical Nursing II8 lecture hours, 24 lab hours, 14 credit hours Concurrent theory and clinical experience applying the nursing process in the care of patients with alterations in musculoskeletal, genitourinary, and neurological systems. Concepts of oncological nursing and intravenous therapy are included. Using the nursing process, basic and advanced nursing skills are performed in meeting the needs of the medical-surgical patient in the clinical setting. Principles of leadership, delegation, and management in the adult and geriatric setting will also be taught. Prerequisite(s): PRNU 117. Corequisite(s): PRNU 128. Course/Lab Fee $225
