CITS 101 - Computer and Internet Literacy3 lecture hours, 0 lab hours, 3 credit hours Ensures students have the technical skills and knowledge necessary for today’s corporate and professional environments. Students develop a solid foundation in technological literacy by exploring hardware, operating system features, application software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations), networking principles, e-mail protocol, computer ethics, security, and the Internet. The course equips students with the necessary skills to study for the IC3 Digital Literacy certification by integrating writing, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking components essential for success in today’s digital landscape. Prerequisite(s): Sucussfully completed or concurrently enrolled in ENGL 101 or ENGL 110. Course/Lab Fee $50
