CHEM 101 - Chemistry I (non-science majors)3-0-3 [LCCN: CCEM 1103]
Introduction to nomenclature; atomic structure; chemical equations and stoichiometry; gas laws; bonding. Quantitative problem solving. Energy relationships, and solutions. Students without high school chemistry may use this course to prepare for more rigorous CHEM 141. Prerequisite(s): MATH 096 or ACT of 18-21, or 26-32 on the Delgado Math Placement Test.
