Introduces the learner to the basic concepts related to pharmacology and the nurse’s role in the safe administration of medications. Pharmacodynamics, drug classifications and drug calculations are included. Prerequisite(s): “C” or better in: ENGL 101, and MATH 118, and BIOL 251, and BIOL 253.
