DEGREE: ASSOCIATE OF APPLIED SCIENCE
DIVISION: BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY

Accountants prepare the reports and schedules that guide companies in evaluating efficiency, controlling costs, measuring profitability, and meeting regulatory requirements.  Delgado’s Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting acquaints students with the principles, procedures, and theories of organizing and maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, tracking payroll, and preparing tax returns.  The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), and is designed to train graduates to succeed in careers requiring a two-year degree.

Students who are interested in the Certificate of Technical Studies program in Accounting are referred to:
