CERTIFICATE OF TECHNIAL STUDIES PROGRAM
DIVISION: TECHNICAL DIVISION

The Electric Line Technician Program prepares individuals to work on utility and construction company line crews. Line Technicians install, repair and maintain transmission and distribution electric power grids. Instruction in this program includes rigging techniques, safety and first aid, electrical theory, transformer hook-up and theory, wire stringing techniques, pole setting, covering techniques, use of rubber protective equipment, and more.
