(Air-Conditioning) Master HVAC/R Technician, T.D.


TECHNICAL DIPLOMA PROGRAM
DIVISION: TECHNICAL DIVISION

The Technical Diploma in Master HVAC/R Technician program will provide the majority of intensive training needed for the skills needed for any type or branding of HVAC/R equipment. Residential, commercial, and institutional clients will present a profitable trade for gainfully employed technicians/owners worldwide. Student Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Master HVAC/R Technician Technical Diploma program, the learner will be able to:

  • Identify various components of HVAC/R systems, comprehend their functions, and apply safety procedures in hands-on analysis and usage of current industry tools (SLO # 1)
  • Perform correct procedures for application design of HVAC/R systems and identify the correct application of jurisdictional codes involved in installations (SLO # 2)
  • Identify and perform diagnostic techniques of electrical/electronic components of HVAC/R control systems (SLO # 3)
  • Operate, install, maintain and repair residential, commercial, and light industrial HVAC/R systems in accordance with EPA guidelines (SLO # 4)
