The Computer Network Technology Program provides entry-level students and experienced computer professionals the skills necessary to work on and with computer networks. Design, installation, repair, administration, management, and operation of networks are the primary focus of the program with an emphasis on the flexibility to adapt network technology to the needs of any company, research facility, or educational institution.

Student Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of the Computer Network Technology Associate of Applied Science program, the learner will be able to:
- Use critical thinking techniques, skills, and tools to troubleshoot and conduct standard tests and interpretation of diagnostic results to solve computer networking problems (SLO #1)
- Discuss the methods to communicate with end users, managers, and peers of a technical or non-technical nature (SLO #2)
- Explain local area network, wide area network, protocols, and networking hardware (SLO #3)
- Build, monitor, and configure networks (SLO #4)
- Identify professional and ethical practices, including a respect for diversity and demonstrate skills in leadership and team-building (SLO #5)
