The Motor Vehicle Technology degree provides two areas of concentration: Collision Repair and General Automotive Repair. Courses consist of a blend of classroom and shop instruction covering basic and advanced techniques of collision repair or general automotive repair. Students can choose from a wide range of automotive topics while having the flexibility of scheduling morning, afternoon, or evening classes.
In addition, Delgado has two manufacture specific programs. Those individuals who desire to make a career in the automotive repair industry as a dealership technician can earn while they learn with acceptance into the Ford ASSET or General Motors ASEP program. Students who choose to appy will have the opportunity for part-time employment at a dealership as an entry-level technician while attending classes.
Students will be instructed in the repair and maintenance operations in all ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) areas of passenger vehicles and light trucks. Completers of the Associate of Applied Science degree are eligible for ASE certification exams.

The College offers a Certificate of Technical Studies program in Motor Vehicle Technology and a Career and Technical Certificate program in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Light Repair.
