Financial Aid Deadlines for Summer 2016 Session

  • To apply for an educational loan to help pay the cost of attending school - Spring 2016 only students - you must have received a response to your FAFSA. (Fall 2015 students, who attended in the fall, however, not in Spring 2016, do not need to complete another FAFSA for Summer 2016, unless you were not packaged for the academic year.)
  • 2015-2016 FAFSA Priority Summer Document Deadline - Friday, April 29, 2016 - All documents must be submitted by this date to be considered for an award letter and eligible for a bookstore credit.
  • Summer 2015-2016 Priority Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progression Appeal Timeline - April 18, 2016 - April 29, 2016 - Appeal and supporting documentation must be submitted by deadline in order to be reviewed in time to secure classes.
  • Summer 2015-2016 Last date to submit Satisfactory Academic Progression Financial Aid Appeal - Application Deadline - May 27, 2016 - Appeal and supporting documentation must be submitted by May 27 in order to be considered for Summer 2016 financial aid funding. Students who miss the priority appeal deadline date must be prepared to pay the entire balance out of pocket, but can be reimbursed if financial aid appeal is approved and all other required documents are processed. Students will not be eligible for a bookstore credit.

13 Friday, 4:30 p.m. FAFSA must be processed by the federal government by this date - all documents must be submitted by this date to be considered for an award letter and eligible for a bookstore credit. Any documentation submitted after this date may require an alternative payment method.
27 Friday 3 p.m. - Payment deadline for in person regular registration

4:30 p.m. - Last date to submit Satisfactory Academic Progression Financial Aid Appeal

Deadline for 50% Tuition Adjustment.  After this date, no adjustments are given.  Students are responsible for full tuition and fee rates after this date, regardless of withdrawal or attendance.

14 Tuesday

First Financial Aid Disbursement will appear on LoLA to begin refund process. The expected HigherOne refund date for this disbursement is June 23; however, refunds can take up to 14 days to process. All students who completed financial aid processing who are eligible for financial aid, except first time borrowers, will be disbursed.

Federal regulations require that the College delay delivering the proceeds of educational loans to first-time borrowers until 30 days after the start of classes. Therefore, student loan funds for first-time borrowers will not be disbursed to their accounts before July 5, 2016.
