  • October 17, 2016 - January 6, Monday - Sunday - Spring 2017 priority registration online
  • October 17, 2016 - December 9, Monday - Friday - Spring 2017 priority registration in person
Financial Aid Deadlines for Spring 2017 Semester
  • 2016-2017 Federal Student Loans - To apply for an educational loan to help pay the cost of attending school - 2017 Spring only students - you must have received a response to your FAFSA - the priority deadline to apply for a financial aid loan is Monday, November 7, 2016. Fall 2016 students who attended in the Fall do not need to complete another FAFSA for Spring 2017, unless you were not packaged for the Fall/Spring academic year.
  • 2016-2017 Priority FAFSA Spring Document Deadline Monday, November 21, 2016. All documents must be submitted by this date to be considered for an award letter and eligible for a bookstore credit.
  • Fall 2016-2017 Priority Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progression Appeal Timeline - November 28 - December 9, 2016 - Appeal and supporting documentation must be submitted by deadline in order to be reviewed in time to secure classes.
  • Last date to submit Satisfactory Academic Progression Financial Aid Appeal - Spring 2017 Application Deadline - January 6, 2017 - Appeal and supporting documentation must be submitted by January 6, 2017 in order to be considered for Spring 2017 financial aid funding. Students who miss the priority or first appeal deadline of December 9, 2016 must be prepared to pay the entire balance out of pocket, but can be reimbursed if financial aid appeal is approved and all other required documents are processed. Students will not be eligible for a bookstore credit.
  • Spring Semester 2017 - Fall 2016 students who attended in the Fall do not need to complete another FAFSA for Spring 2017, unless you were not packaged for the Fall/Spring academic year. 2017-2018 Fall students can apply now and use your 2015 tax return information.

January

  • 3 - 6, Tuesday - Friday - Spring 2017 priority registration in person
  • 6, Friday 
    • 3 p.m. - Payment deadline for in person regular registration
    • Deadline to submit Satisfactory Academic Progression Financial Aid Appeal for Spring 2017
  • 8, Sunday - 12 noon - Online payment deadline - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted
  • 9 - 18, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - Late registration online
  • 9 - 10, Monday -Tuesday - College Faculty/Staff Convocation
  • 11, Wednesday - First day to use bookstore credit - books may be purchased using bookstore voucher for students who are eligible if financial aid has been processed and authorized for at least 48 hours
  • 11 - 13, Wednesday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Late registration in person
  • 14, Saturday - CLASSES BEGIN
  • 15, Sunday - 12 noon - Online payment deadline - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted
  • 16, Monday - Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, no classes
  • 17 - 18, Tuesday - Wednesday, 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. - Late registration, drop/add in person
  • 18, Wednesday, 6 p.m. - Final date to add courses, change sections, change from credit to audit or audit to credit / Last date for admission to the College for Semester
  • 22, Sunday - 12 noon - Online payment deadline - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted
  • 23 - 30, Monday - Friday, 8 p.m. - Nightly schedule purges - schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted
  • 24, Tuesday - Last day to use bookstore credit
  • 25, Wednesday - Deadline for 100% tuition adjustment
  • 31, Tuesday 
    • 3 p.m. - Schedules must be secured and/or paid to prevent being deleted
    • 4:30 p.m. - Official 14th Class Day / Last date to drop without “W” on student transcripts for the regular semester only
    • Deadline for 50% tuition adjustment - after this date, no adjustments are given - students are responsible for full tuition and fee rates after this date, regardless or withdrawal or attendance

February

  • 2, Thursday - Federal Student Aid disbursement date - the expected BankMobile refund date for this disbursement is February 10; however, refunds can take up to 14 days to process
  • 10, Friday - Last day to submit Spring Satisfactory Academic Progression Appeal 
  • 15, Wednesday - Installment payment due
  • 20, Monday - First disbursement date for first-time borrowers - the expected BankMobile refund date for this disbursement is March 3; however, refunds can take up to 14 days to process
  • 24, Friday, 4:30 p.m. - Second deadline to apply for May graduation. After this date a “late fee” will be assessed.
  • 25 - March 1, Saturday - Wednesday - Mardi Gras holiday, no classes

March

  • 3, Friday - Second disbursement date for first-time borrowers - the expected BankMobile refund date for this disbursement is March 17; however, refunds can take up to 14 days to process; last day to submit Second Start Satisfactory Academic Progression Appeal applications
  • 7, Tuesday, 8 a.m. - Beginning of midterm exams
  • 7 - 13, Tuesday - Monday - Second Start late registration add/drop in person and online
  • 10, Friday 4:30 p.m. - Last date to apply for May Graduation applications received after this date will be processed for December graduation
  • 13, Monday - End of midterm exams 
  • 14, Tuesday, 1 p.m. - Midterm grading period ends / Final date for completion of non-traditional credits 
  • 15, Wednesday - Installment payment due
  • 20 - May 19, Monday - Friday - Summer/Fall 2017 priority registration in person or online; accepting Summer/Fall 2017 Satisfactory Academic Progression Appeal applications

April

  • 3, Monday, 4:30 p.m. - First priority deadline to apply for December 2017 graduation
  • 4, Tuesday, 6 p.m. - Final day for dropping Spring Semester courses with a “W” or withdrawing from College
  • 15, Saturday - Final installment payment due
  • 13 - 16, Thursday - Sunday - Spring holiday, no classes
  • 24, Monday, 4:30 p.m. - Last date for reinstatement to be processed in Registrar’s office

May

  • 1, Monday - Last Day of Class
  • 2, Tuesday, 8 a.m. - Beginning of final exams
  • 5, Friday, 12 midnight - Final grades due for final exams given on Tuesday, May 2 and Wednesday, May 3
  • 6, Saturday - Final exams for Saturday classes
  • 8, Monday, 12 midnight - Final grades due for final exams given on Thursday, May 4; Friday, May 5; and Saturday, May 6
  • 9, Tuesday, 11 p.m. - End of final exams
  • 10, Wednesday, 1 p.m. - Final grading period ends; final grades due for final exams given on Monday, May 8 and Tuesday, May 9; grade Books Due in Divisional Offices
  • 11, Thursday, 4:30 p.m. - End of Spring Semester
