EMTE 246 - Advanced Airway Management and Emergency Cardiac Care Laboratory

Practical application of skills for treatment of patients with pulmonary and/or cardiovascular illnesses. Reading and interpretation of EKG’s, defibrillation, cardioversion, airway management, ventilation, and advanced life support management of adults in prehospital setting. Prerequisite(s): EMTE 235, 236, 237, HESC 161 (or permission of instructor). Corequisite(s): EMTE 245, 247.
