Includes mechanisms involving free radicals and intermediates and concepts such as stereochemistry, kinetics, and thermodynamics that demonstrate the correlation of structure with chemical reactivity. Prerequisite(s): Completion of CHEM 142 and CHEM 144 with a grade of “C” or better. Corequisite(s): CHEM 223.
