MATH 124 - Geometry for Elementary Teachers

3 lecture hours, no lab hours, 3 credit hours
[LCCN: CMAT-1423]
A study of basic Euclidean geometry, measurement and probability statistics, chosen to give the elementary school teacher the mathematical background necessary for the present elementary school curriculum. Prerequisite(s):
  • Completion of MATH 123 with a minimum grade of “C” OR;
  • Accuplacer Next Generation QAS Placement Test score of 263 or higher OR;
  • Accuplacer Next Generation AAF Placement Test score of 250 or higher OR;
  • ACT Mathematics score of 23 or higher
