This is a support course designed to help students develop strategies and skills needed for successful completion of MATH-120. The background topics include: numeracy, word problem deconstruction, fractions, decimals, ratios and proportions, percentages, algebraic expressions, exponents, polynomials, factoring, linear equations, set operations, the mathematics of finance, geometry, statistics, and college algebra.
