FSED 131 - Funeral Directing

3 lecture hours, no lab hours, 3 credit hours
Focuses on the basic duties, responsibilities and expectations of those practicing in funeral service. Includes notification of death, transfer of remains, conduct of the arrangement conference, prefunded/preplanned funerals, religious practices, fraternal funerals and military honors, shipment of remains, cremation, aftercare, and regulatory and legislative compliance. Prerequisite(s): Program Director’s approval.
