VETT 121 - Animal Nursing Skills I2 lecture hour, 1 lab hours, 2 credit hours Acquaints the student with proper handling and restraint techniques for dogs and cats. This includes the fundamentals of personal safety when handling animals. It also includes the study of the technical skills required to perform physical examinations, medicate animals, collect laboratory samples, perform bandaging, and place catheters. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into Veterinary program. Course/Lab Fee $65
