GEOL 131 - Natural Disasters

3 lecture hours, no lab hours, 3 credit hours
Provides students with a thorough and multidisciplinary examination of natural disasters, including earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, wildfires, tsunamis, and more.  By combining principles from geology, meteorology, seismology, and other scientific principles, students will gain a holistic understanding of the causes and effects of natural disasters and how communities can prepare for and respond to these events. Course/Lab Fee $30
