MATH 207 - Biostatistics3 lecture hours, 0 lab hours, 3 credit hours An introduction to probability, descriptive, and inferential statistics using applications to health and biological sciences. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability, sensitivity and specificity, discrete and continuous distributions,interval estimation, hypothesis testing, simple linear regression, and categorical data analysis. Prerequisite(s): Completion with a minimum grade of “C” in Math 130 OR Accuplacer Next Generation AAF Placement test score of 276 or higher OR ACT Mathematics score of 26 or higher.
